FAQs
-
Cohorts create social accountability and normalize the behaviors we’re asking participants to adopt. In addition, cohorts help forge bonds between participants, which makes it easier for them to make introductions to each other and cross-sell.
-
We build in structured reinforcement: peer coaching, follow-up challenges, and measurement at key intervals. Most importantly, we focus on building habits, because even small weekly changes compound into big results.
-
We meet them where they are. partners are more open to change when business development is framed as an extension of client service and expertise, not a departure from it. We show them data that challenges old assumptions, introduce behaviors that feel achievable, and create space for experimentation without pressure.
-
Not everyone will adopt every tactic, but almost everyone can improve. Activator is about building on what already works for each individual—then layering in habits and mindsets that drive growth.
-
We start by understanding your firm’s context and goals as well as the participants’ experience levels and backgrounds, and make sure our facilitators are equipped to bring that context into the classroom. We ask participants to fill out the Activator diagnostic ahead of time so we have that input into the classroom experience. Then we track impact—quantitatively and qualitatively—so you can see real behavior change and business outcomes.
-
Many start with two pilot cohorts of either high-potential or new partners. From there, they expand to broader groups, using early wins to build momentum and internal credibility.
-
Enabling change in professional services is different than in a B2B context. Success in partnerships means starting small, using peer endorsement instead of top-down enforcement, and building visible momentum. We help you equip internal champions, share win stories, and use light reinforcement tools to keep energy high. Over time, Activator becomes not just a skillset, but part of how the firm talks about business development.
-
We can move quickly—many programs launch within 6–8 weeks. That said, more lead time allows for better alignment on goals, participant selection, and integration with other firm initiatives.
