Chris Miller

Senior Vice President, Research

Chris has spent three decades building best-practice communities and executive education services helping senior leaders in global industry, health care, higher education and professional services harness technology disruptions for growth and mission success.

Before joining DCMi, Chris served as Senior Advisor to the President at Georgetown University, where he helped develop multidisciplinary "Grand Challenge" initiatives in artificial intelligence and biomedical research to inform institutional strategy, curriculum development, operations, and fundraising.

Previously, Chris was a founding executive and Senior Vice President at EAB, a research, technology, and advisory firm serving higher education and K-12 leaders on student success, enrollment, and organizational performance. During his 12-year tenure, EAB grew from a startup to a global organization serving more than 2,000 institutions. If your child attends a US college or university, chances are they have encountered EAB tools or services during the admissions process, academic advising, or career planning.

Earlier, Chris held senior leadership roles at Corporate Executive Board (now Gartner) and The Advisory Board Company, creating and leading memberships serving senior executives in technology, strategy, innovation, finance, and healthcare. Across his career, he has authored dozens of best-practice studies and spoken at hundreds of executive, board, policymaker, and industry events around the world.

Chris holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University. He and his Australian wife have two daughters and previously lived in Melbourne before returning to Washington, DC. Outside of work, he is an avid sports fan, cinephile, and board game enthusiast.
